1. Describe the institution and how it appears in the world. How do people encounter this group or institution, digitally or physically? Describe their website or headquarters or something else that physically represents the group to the world at large.
The Planned Parenthood Federation of America is seen differently depending on the person. Naturally, people who oppose abortions will not view PP in a positive light. Some people truly despise their work and think they are a barbaric, unethical institution who, with tax payer's money, constantly commits atrocities. In contrast, there are people who view PP as an amazing organization whose goal is to help women and stand up for important issues. Their website projects an image of a caring and committed group who is there to help. They portray themselves as people women can seek in times of fear or worry when it comes to sex and pregnancy, instead of people who are out to denounce or control them. PP is constantly in the media because some want to praise their efforts and advances, but others condemn their work and wish for their demise. Their clinics are around the country and PP operates globally, even though sometimes they shut down and are protested. PP is well-established and can afford to uphold their image in times of controversy; they are composed and professional when their name is in legal or political issues. Their services for abortion, birth control, morning-after contraception, STD's and general women's health, extend from teens to parents and educators. Their social media platform consists of twitter, facebook, youtube, google plus, instagram, so they are very in the now on the latest world news and campaigns.

1. "There is no financial benefit for tissue donation for either the patient or for Planned Parenthood. In some instances, actual costs, such as the cost to transport tissue to leading research centers, are reimbursed, which is standard across the medical field." Statement for/from PP's Communication's Leader, Eric Ferrero
In simpler terms, "PP does not profit from fetal tissue, but there are other costs, sometimes"
2. "Our donation programs, like any other high-quality health care providers, follow all laws and ethical guidelines." 43 seconds in
3. "Planned Parenthood stands behind our work to help women and families donate tissue for medical research when they wish to. It is always their decision." At 1:28
3. Can you explain how valid these claims are? Objectively, how much weight do these claims carry? How credible are they? Be specific. Think about how poorly or successfully the stakeholder cites FACTS, plays on our EMOTIONS, or presents themself as a CREDIBLE actor in the debate.
Many sources support these serious claims, especially after government investigation where wrongdoing by PP could not be found. They are very credible; they do not solely piggyback on emotions, but they tell facts and refute the allegations made by David Daleiden and the CMP>
4. Can you explain how these claims are similar and/or different to the other stakeholders? Be clear and precise - does this stakeholder have anything in common with others involved in the debate? Who do they have the least in common with? Why?
They are directly refuting what Daleiden tried to expose and highlight. Daleiden attacked PP and their reputation, Cecile Richards, C.E.O of Planned Parenthood released the statement to discredit Daleiden and bring to light his true goal- to ruin PP, get them defunded, so abortions, too, can be put to an end.
